Future Road map

MEETRA is under the process of development as “ Centre of Excellence” in WATSAN sector at Nashik.MEETRA’s present infrastructure is inadequate to fulfill in future academic needs and hence up gradation and strengthening of infrastructure is proposed to develop MEETRA as Centre of Excellence.

As a “centre of excellence” in Water Supply & Sanitation sector MEETRA gets ready to play a large & vital role in the future. The physical infrastructure requires to be strengthened accordingly. Under Jalswarajya Phase-II provision made for various development viz: Expansion, Augmentation, repairs & renovation work for MEETRA, Nashik.

• Extension of Seminar hall, development of new class rooms & renovation of existing class rooms including strengthening of existing administration building.
• Expansion & Renovation work of Seminar Hall.
• Expansion & Renovation of Mess & Hostel Building.
• Drainage & storm water drainage system in existing campus.
• IIT पवई, म.जी.प्रा., मित्रा आणि सिमेन्स या चार संस्थांच्या सामंजस्य कराराद्वारे ओझर साकोरे प्रा.पा.पु. योजनेतील ओझर गावातील वितरण व्यवस्था ऑटोमेशन द्वारा जास्तीत जास्त लोकसंख्येस पाणी पुरवठा करण्याचे काम करण्यात आले.
• महाराष्ट्रात विविध स्थानिक नागरी स्वराज्य संस्थेमार्फत स्वच्छ महाराष्ट्र अभियाना अंतर्गत बांधण्यात आलेल्या मैला प्रक्रिया केंद्राच्या कामगिरीचा अभ्यास CEPT युनिव्हसिटी, अहमदाबाद यांच्या अर्थसहाय्यातून करण्याचे नियोजीत आहे.
• पाणी आणि वातावरणातील बदल या विषयाच्या अनुषंगे GIZ, नवी दिल्ली यांच्या अर्थसहाय्याने आणि निरी, नागपूर संस्थेच्या सहकार्यातून अभ्यास करुन त्या आधारे विषयावरील प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम विकसीत करण्यात येत आहे.

To fulfill above strengthening & development work under JS-II appointment of Architectural Consultancy EoI finalized by M.S. office accordingly and tender invitation process is under progress at MEETRA.
